This 150000 square feet facility is planned as a part of Oman’s food security strategy. By creating optimum light and water pH, deep sea fish are bred and grown in captivity and harvested for meat, as well as caviar.
HESY Netherland were the process consultant. ANA provided the design and detailed engineering to create a facility suitable for a maritime climate and salt water process.
Sea water pumping systems and structural systems were designed to offer a long term solution, without a high cost. Evaporation from the sea water vessels was used for cooling the process area by a mix of natural draft and forced ventilation.
